Is membership tax-deductible?
Membership is not tax-deductible. If you choose to make an additional donation when you sign up for membership, that donation is tax-deductible.
Can I use my donor advised fund (DAF) to pay for membership?
A DAF may not be used to pay for membership. If you would like to make a Science Friday donation in the form of a DAF distribution, please contact us at donate@sciencefriday.org.
Can my employer match my membership fee?
The cost of a membership is not eligible for employer matching. If you have made a tax deductible donation to Science Friday, please see our guidelines for employer matching and we appreciate you checking to see if your employer will match your gift.
